Interview with Troy Swope, Founder and CEO of Footprint Tech


Troy Swope is the founder and CEO of Footprint Tech, a material sciences company focused on eliminating the use of plastic in food. As a result of their innovative solutions, most notably their development of molded fiber packaging, Footprint was recently named one of Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies “For leading business to plastic alternatives, at scale.” Prior to founding Footprint, Swope was an Engineering Manager at Intel, where he and his team helped Intel save $300 million in logistic and materials spending, and after leaving Intel, he founded the UGS business model as a Senior Vice President at Unisource Worldwide.
